Welcome to Castlebar Primary School! We are thrilled to have you join our vibrant school community.

Our school, a merger of the esteemed St. Angela’s Girls’ and St. Patrick’s Boys’ National Schools, opened its doors in September 2022.

We are committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where every child can reach their full potential.

To best serve our students, we operate on two campuses:

• Junior Campus: Located on The Lawn, our Junior Campus caters to the youngest members of our school family, from Junior Infants to Second Class. We also offer specialized support through our Language and AS classes.

• Senior Campus: Situated on Chapel Street, our Senior Campus supports students from Second to Sixth Class as they continue their educational journey.​
